The Grind
The Grind was an experimental journal of poetry, prose, fiction, and visual storytelling. Between 2013 and 2017 we published five editions and held a number of sell-out events in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, and Stirling to raise money for local food banks. Due to imperfect data storage at the time, two editions of The Grind are on an inaccessible hard drive which, if anything, feeds into the lore I created around The Grind.

Our events featured prominent and influential performers at various stages of their careers and fame, such as Janice Galloway, Janet Paisley, Gordon Legge, Liz Lochhead, Mark McGhee (Girobabies), Darren McGarvey (Orwell Prize winner), Alan Bissett, and a collaboration with Amnesty International's Imprisoned Writers event.
